HealthPartners / CIGNA Alliance
HealthPartners alliance with CIGNA was effective January 1, 2007. Our Quick Reference Guide is available to find important information such as sample member identification cards, claims submission processes, contact information, policies and other pertinent information.
With this new alliance, contracted providers may see CIGNA members and HealthPartners members. - If you see a CIGNA member, claims should be submitted to CIGNA
(the member will have a CIGNA member card).
- If you see a HealthPartners member, claims should be submitted to HealthPartners
(the member will have a HealthPartners member card). Please reference the back of the member's card for claims submission information.
